About the author

RW Duder (Rob) writes horror that hits hard and doesn’t apologize for it. Based in Ontario, Canada, he has spent the past decade building a body of work that focuses on the darker side of human nature such as violence, fear, loss, and what happens when people are pushed past their limits.

Rob’s first novel, Desolation (2014), set the tone for everything that followed: grounded characters, real consequences, and horror that never flinches. Since then, he’s written multiple novels across the genre, including the psychological hauntings of Broken, the grim supernatural edge of The Art of Dying, and the brutal slasher series Amy, which has become a hallmark of his style which is relentless, sharp, and uncomfortably honest.

His stories aren’t about cheap shocks or safe endings. They’re about ordinary people facing the worst and either standing up to it or being consumed by it.

If you want horror that remembers where the genre came from—fear, blood, tension, and consequence—this is it.
